Obituary of Anne Pound
Anne K. Pound, 74, of Brownville, New York passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017 at Rochester General Hospital surrounded by her family.
Anne was born April 1, 1943 to Chester and Ann Bonnallie of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Fitchburg High School and from the Eastman School of Dental Hygiene, Rochester, New York.
On June 26, 1965, she married Richard L. Pound in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The couple has lived in Brownville, New York for 47 years. She worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Robert Mesires in Watertown for many years.
Family was of the utmost importance to Anne. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved family vacations in Cape Cod. Anne could be found canning tomatoes, knitting afghans and doing crossword puzzles. Anne was an active member of the Brownville American Legion, where she enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Richard and her three daughters; Stephanie (Steven) Baiocchi of Rochester, Kristin (Adam) Goldfeder of Rochester and Richelle (Jesse) Malcolm of Brownville. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Paige, Brooke, James, Davis, Leo, Charlotte, Libby and Gabe.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter, New York from 3:00-7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brownville at 11:00 am with Father Kevin O’Brien officiating. The burial will be scheduled at a later time. Donations may be made to the Allen-Giles Post 588 American Legion in Brownville, New York or the Immaculate Conception Church, of Brownville, New York.
