Reta J. Kizzer 90 of Brownville passed away Thursday morning at her home.
Reta was born July 28, 1928 in Brownville, the daughter of Lewis and Virginia Phelps Majo. She graduated from Dexter High School in 1945. She married Carl Kizzer on October 7, 1946 in Sackets Harbor.
Reta worked at Calavo Fruit Co., Pine Cleaners and retired from Bomax after 20 years in assembly.
She is survived by a daughter Marsha Kizzer of Florida, a daughter-in-law Hope Kizzer of Dexter, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, a brother Gary Majo of Brownville.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl Kizzer in 1986 and a son Bruce Kizzer in 2004, a brother Malcolm in 1981.
A graveside service will be held Monday June 24th at 11:00 am at the Dexter Cemetery with Rev. Sally Buyea officiating. There will be no calling hours.
