Melvin A. Frazier Jr., 77, of Dexter passed away Sunday morning at Samaritan Medical Center.
Melvin was born July, 13, 1940 in Plessis the son of Melvin and Viola Carlisle Frazier Sr. He attended Alexandria Bay High School. He served in the US Army from 1958-1962.
Melvin married Joyce A. Rockwood on December 25, 1977 by Justice Richard Parker in Brownville. The couple lived in Dexter. Melvin worked as a truck driver for several years for Marzano Trucking.
He is survived by his wife Joyce and two sons; Jeffrey Frazier and his companion Nico of Philadelphia, PA and Chad and April Frazier of Watertown. He has two step-grandchildren: Taylor Miller and Dakota Miller. He has two sisters Charlotte Maines of Auburn, NY and Katherine Shuler of Arizona and a brother Claude Frazier address unknown. He was predeceased by brothers Roy and August.
