James T. Farrington, 33
of SacketsHarbor died suddenly at home Wednesday, January 25, 2018.
James was born on October 7, 1984 at Homestead AFB Hospital, Florida. He was the oldest son of Bill and Sandy Farrington.
James attended schools at RAF Croughton, England and Hill AFB, Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Sackets Harbor Central School in 2002. He attended SUNY New Paltz, majoring in Communication. He lived and worked in New Paltz and Mountain Home, ID and Poughkeepsie after college, before returning to Sackets Harbor.
He worked at Harbor Heights Inn, Sackets Harbor. He was active in marketing and formatting eBooks’ for F. L. Barrett. He was working on Python programming skills and remote web services.
James was interested in helping others, making people laugh, in researching new ideas. He loved technology, cooking, golfing, magic tricks, games and reading. Enjoyed following current events and politics, and having discussions about both.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Sandy Farrington of Sackets Harbor; his sister Jennifer and brother-in-law Ben Cook, New Orleans, LA; Sister Jolene and brother-in-law Jim Burns, Sacramento, CA; brother John Farrington, Sackets Harbor, NY. Also many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Monday, January 29, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home in Dexter, NY, with a memorial service to follow after 7pm. A private burial for the family will follow later in the year.

James was a happy, easy-going guy with a huge heart and comic ability. He will be cherished in the memories of family and friends and sorely missed. Uncle Jim will be with him soon.
